  1. The technical term is suppressor. By definition, "silence" means to be completely absent of sound. Meh, silencer and suppressor are fairly ambiguous nowadays so, whatever makes you all happy

  2. Flow through suppressor and a midlength tube will be all you need but if you are clearing rooms while suppressed and under nods the most important factor for keeping gas and flash off your glass is using high grain, low flash/low smoke rounds.

  3. It was a good video, but he gave the impression that you'd have to adjust your gas block for the different types of ammo to work…but its the different ammo and suppressor conditions that the adjustable gas block mitigates to allow your rifle to cycle properly. I'd rather be able to adjust my gas system for a suppressor and the different ammo used vice not being able to have my rifle reliably cycle under different conditions. I build my rifles from the ground up and adjustable gas blocks are no different to install than regular ones. They're just another variable to compensate for different buffer weights and buffer springs, and also allow you to easily tune your rifle for a 3:004:30 ejection pattern. To each his own. I use FailZero BCGs typically, JustRails ambi charging handles (don't laugh now, they're cheap, they've all held up, and they offset the higher cost of the adjustable gas block), an H2 buffer, and adjustable gas blocks. And I rarely have to adjust the block.

  4. Dude, I’m looking to buy my first suppressor, n been watching videos for days , thanks for all the information that non of the reviewers even mentioned having the ability to do anything except put it on the gun , you taught me a lot , n I Appreciate you Sharing your knowledge with me !!! I’m not afraid of changing gas blocks !!! Nice to know alll this !!!! 💥💥🔫 from Commy Ct 🇺🇸

  5. Adjustable gas blocks are not the best idea because they add a new point of failure to the gun, but there is a pretty nice one (albeit expensive) called "RIFLESPEED Gas Controls". Best advice is to get a spring from Geissele or Springco and test with buffers from H2 to H4 until your ejection pattern is around 4 o'clock. You can also look up DIY gas buster charging handle if you want to save some money there.

  6. Thank you for the advice. I don't like adjustable gas blocks from what I've seen. The BCG seems viable. I use heavier buffer (H3) and spring, as im running a binary trigger on a 10.5" barrel. YHM Resonator R2 up front. Killer flex w/ the machine gun brotha!🫡🤑💥💥💥
