I cannot get my mag release switch to fit far enough inside the hole, to turn it on the other side. How do I troubleshoot this? Please help! 😭

How else would you do it? I honestly thought that was the only way to install them in order to screw it on? 😕
What if the screw end part isnt flushed with the button building a ar10 but doesnt sit flush is that bad? Think maybe it'll break the threads off the button with time?
Anyone have issues with AP lowers mag catch well being too tight? I've tried a couple mag catches and they all get stuck before being fully seated.
Might have to file down the catch well on the lower?
FYI , If you have an extended mag button with no hole all the way through to see if the threads are flush, look inside the magwell and you will see the mag release lever flush to very very slightly sticking up against the magwell surface on both sides of the rectangular protrusion in the center of the lever that holds the notch in an AR Mag.

did you have any problems with the mag release lever getting stuck? ive installed mine on the m4e1 and for some reason it doesnt want to push in.
