  1. You guys should invite Benny to the US and do some outdoor content with him in the PNW, I think he'D be quite suited for that environment and can both teach you guys some practical things and get him to try some firearms he hasn't gotten to trying yet.

  2. AUG is healthier because you don't get so many gasses back, but it does have some trouble being truly suppressed.
AR has better "balance" of the things you need for urban combat.
AK for winter use in the trenches, can also be used as a shovel?

  3. I have a hard time believing that a well made ar15 won’t last 10k rounds… there are issues fn rifles that have been beaten to death for 2 decades that still see service 50k rounds plus (barrel , bolt, springs, and gas tube changes obviously)

  4. I asked an Australian Clearance Diver why they use M4s and not the standard ADF F88, the response, "can't swim with a Steyr, due to the gas piston, it gets hydraulic lock with water behind the piston and won't cycle"

  5. For SF use that's all fun and dandy. Hopping on the chopper for a 2 hour mission and back to base. For prolonged field use in dust or freezing temp it's the AUG any day.
Comparing a 10.5 inch with a 16 inch on weight is kind of a joke too. Yeah it's lighter, also its way harder to shoot at a distance and loses energy way faster because of the lower V0, which shows in real world targets

  6. One must appreciate the lego factor of the ar15. Very easy for the average grunt to maintain. This and the idf sf not using bullpups in recent combat footage confirms they prefer traditional rifles.
