Between 1973 and 1981, I had 6 different sweet 16s. They were all tack drivers. I always qualified Expert. I kept them clean and lubed and they never malfunctioned. My Connie comic book was stolen in 1979 and I wasn't able to get a replacement. If you know, you know.
While I love the practicality of a free-floating hand guard with mlok slots all over it, those old-school triangular handguards are gorgeous. So iconic.
Tbh, this weapon quite good even within 300 range. It recoil kinda light and the weight wasn't that heavy. M16 was my first rifle I trained with and I surprisingly got 8.7.8 score. We only allowed to shoot 5 bullet tho.

Best AR15 configuration in my opinion alongside the free floated mlok rail AR15s
wow. i hate it. m16s were so ugly. i always preferred the AK platform over the AR platform. however, i really love the more modern AR15s /m4s.
