Good video! I believe they call that thing that rides on the spring a detent, just like the detents that ride on the springs for the receiver takedown and swivel, and selector…. And I believe the little scratches we get servicing our rifles are character making, otherwise the rifle is probably a safe queen, and that's no fun…LOL.

Look at the gouge you put in the lower lol please stop making videos you arnt a good gunsmith
Mine wont come out, I think I will have to drill it out.
I aint ever using the brownells roll pin punch they had designed specifically for this.
