What do you mean by "when things go bad"?
Just grab a couple boxes of cr123 batteries from Amazon. They can be found between $17-20 for 12. Just gotta order them when the price drops.
It's good to have some AA battery flashlights around but I still love my surefires 🤣. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Edit You can also use a 16650 rechargeable battery with surefires if I'm not mistaken.
