Sorry I screwed up the editing near the end.
No overrev lost at all. I found it revved higher in fact. You are going to love it, its the best mod you can do to the YZ.
Years ago (the 90s) the #1 engine mod team green was doing to the KX500 was the power valve mod. It was considered more important than porting.
You don’t lose any over-rev. It actually seems like the engine hits higher rpm with the kit installed.
Neat install👍
Too compleximicated…
Thanks for another great video. I was just wondering why you wouldn't just rebuild the old crank? Instead of buying a new one?
The YZ power valve seems very "Rube Goldberg" compared to the Beta 250/300 (which is super-simple)..
That hitlis system looks pretty sweet 🤘🤘🤘
Looking forward to testing. I have a 2003 YZ250 and that sounds like something I'd like to do.
What modification do you do to the governor on the "X" model and what does it do the bike to make it run better?
Why doo that 3 times
Felt like it was groundhog day around 21:20 🙂
Just got a 2024 yz250 this week.
Fun watching this come together.
I've been waiting for this one. Great video! Thanks for doing it.
Great install of a great product. Tim is also a great guy to work with if you have questions. The biggest thing I wish I had done was ride my YZ250 more before I installed the HITLISS system to know how much of a difference it made. Nonetheless, I love the way my YZ runs!
