We all know the price of .223 and 5.56 is through the roof right now. One way to cut costs is to invest in a CMMG .22lr conversion kit. These thing are awesome!

It's good for training, but 22lr is really dirty. You'll save tons of money but expect a few hours of deep cleaning your rifle after a 500 plus range day. I've had my kit for over a year and it's been great. Definitely worth it
I prefer a dedicated .22lr rifle, of course it's a CMMG.
Its fine shooting out of a 5.56 barrel still? The barrel is not too big for 22LR?
