The new Streamlight TLR-7X is on the market and causing some confusion in the holster world. We have been getting calls daily asking if the TLR-7X and will fit the holsters for the TLR-7A….the answer is YES!

The lumens are not the same… The "X" model has 1000 lumens & steps down to 500 lumens… the "A" model is 500 lumens only … From what the streamlight guy said in a video
So does the sl-b9 battery not work in the tlr-7’s?
