Literally just bought my first firearm. An American Tactical AR-15 shoots 5.56 and .223 it was the cheapest one at the gun shop but god i love it. Still in the break in stage only ran about 110 rounds of 5.56 through it but damn. Im in love. Only 19 but im addicted. But much love from Idaho man this video made me laugh
I get the logic , but realistically I havenβt seen an AR thatβs only .223. Maybe other platforms but not AR15β¦ I guess it donβt hurt to check though
People saying itβs not safe are crazy the safety factor is typically 2:1 on firearm components .
223 is around 55k psi 5.56 is around 60k psi
U would need a Catastrophic failure anyways to reach numbers for it to be unsafe which means u done something wrong to begin with. But if it makes u feel better lol
If your AR was made within the last 25 to 30 years it's probably chambered in 556 regardless if it says 223 for example HK's rifles say chambered in 223 for the past 25 years but they're actually chambered in 556 and the barrels also say 556

Multi, better off so you can shoot both instead of just buying a .223
.223 Wylde baby!!!! New od green stag 15 limited edition project spectrum
I use a .223 Wylde upper.
You must be ex military lol
When buying an AR go for 5.56 not .223. A .223 AR can not safely shoot 5.56 but a 5.56 AR can safely shoot both
Multi
6mm BB

556 is 1 millionths bigger than a 223 witch is why a 556 can shoot 223 but a 223 cant shoot 556
