  1. I wish I could find a decent condition and reasonably priced one, they were doing short stroke gas piston before it was cool. Both the 5.56 and 7.62×51 are on my watch list on the used market. They are soft shooters and more accurate than I am, what happened to that Ruger, the one that took chances, like the sr9 and sr45, their attempt at a poly framed double stack 1911, under rated guns, especially if you got one of the good ones or got yours fixed.

  2. I remember when that came out, the AR forums were mad why Ruger did not go with "milspec" on the finishes, metallurgy, etc. at the time when "milspec" was the market craze.

    on another note, it could have been an "infantry automatic rifle" with that barrel switch feature.
