Fortuna falls in Alajuela Province, Costa Rica is often overlooked when planning a trip in one of the most beautiful countries on the planet! Today I arrived from Tortuguero and I needed something to do for the afternoon. It was raining upon my arrival, and I thought what better way to spend a rainy afternoon than going swimming in a waterfall! Using the ioverlander app, a honed in a great spot for car camping near the falls, Camping Fortuna San Carlos. An affordable and VERY convenient place to hang my hat for the next few days.
