  1. 300AAC was designed for SOCOM so they could use CQB with 220g subsonic and suppression and then immediately engage at a couple 100 yards with 110g supersonic and naked. Seems to be a lot of bs about this round

  2. I have a 10.5in 300blk bcm upper I just ordered a aero 8in 300blk upper im looking for suggestions on a optic to go with I currently have a 1x vortex spitfire prism because of my astigmatism but I have no problem using red dots either so idk what a good suggestion would be

  3. Idk if i missed it but what is the twist rate of the 8" barrel? Looking to stabilize both super 110 gr and 220 gr. Have heard 1:7 twist seems to be the happy medium but wanted to get everyones take on it

  4. Mine running a BFSIII. 8.5" PSA. with home milled freedom for a lower. Binary trigger is a nice option. I am running the exact same BCG love the skull. Have been sense 2016.

  5. This popped up for me, glad I found it because I was always interested in this type of build for brush/truck/home defense/backpack style AR. Got a new subscription. 💪🏼😁

  6. I’m glad someone admits 300 blackout supers are where it’s at!
And I’m glad you use your brain instead of following trends, as for a long time I used a YHM R9 on my 300blk.. then I stepped up to a nomad 30 and was pleasantly displeased as they sound nearly the same.

  7. Personally, if I build a 300AAC, I would go with the 12.5 CMMG barrel inside of a complete Spikes Tactical parts kit and I would pin and weld the Spikes Tactical Barking Spider 3.75 inches on the barrel to reach the 16 inch mark but that's just me

  8. Your right. However, please don’t feel the need to justify the .300 blk. After spending 6 years in the Marine Corps, I’ve learned that I don’t mind and “they” don’t matter. Every weapon system has a purpose or use with few exceptions. One being that short barrel .223 you had. A weapon is just a tool. You may have different tool needs. Most people think in “one or the other” paradigms. I have a Colt AR in 5.56, a M24 sniper in .308, a Galil Ace in 7.62X39, a .300 blk and a MP5K as well as many others. I wouldn’t shoot my MP5K at a 1000! Hence every tool has its place!
