  1. After watching this video. I experienced a lot of this when I had my first "AR". A fixed mag cuz I'm in Massachusetts and didn't know any better.

Plenty times my gun would be at the gun Smith for 1, 2, 3 weeks. Granted all the fixes were free or cheap. It was annoying. But pretty much everything was changed/"upgraded".

    Was a 7.5 5.56 ar upper .

I never made a video about the issues because I figured it's just my luck but seems like these things are common.

  2. I only bought one upper from BCA, wasn't really impressed. That being said, I haven't had too many problems with it. But PSA makes it dead in the water. Never had any issues with any PSA or Aero for that matter for something decent and decently priced. My BCA upper has had a couple failures to eject and feed. Nothing major, but why when I fired 3x the ammo through my Aero, Wilson, Ruger, and PSA with maybe 1 malfunction out of all combined and I think it was mag related. Just save a little more and get better. Buy once, cry once.

  3. They have two choices with their terrible handguard and they always make the same choice. Instead of shimming where needed and cranking down the barrel nut to a safe torque, they will leave it loose to make it straight. My 450 bushmaster fell apart in the woods.

  4. I don't know they are the definition of budget so I don't really know what we're expecting here. But I don't know I have one of their uppers that's functioning just fine and two of their barrels that are on range toys work as expected but they work. 🤷

  5. Really shows who’s paying who. All my post samples are strictly BCA uppers and o have run hundreds and some thousands of rounds in full auto and semi and never ONCE had an issue.

  6. As much as I love my BCA upper (20" 223 Wylde heavy barrel), that's about as safe as you can get with an AR upper. The ones you got are definitely taking more of a beating, and going beyond what I would trust BCA to handle. What's worse is BCA's response to this video, sending out emails to assure people of the quality of their products instead of working to fix the issues.

  7. Funny how bca has been good for the last 6 years but now it's horrible, you got a bad one it's pretty 💩 of people lately attacking them. I have had 3-4 bca side chargers uppers and they ran great, bca will gladly replace all problem but I have a theory that all these problems were the "covid" Era parts
