I just got the same lightweight handguard, not full pic rail, with a steel nut and screws instead of the titanium… that seemed a bit extreme even for my lightweight build. So, not the ultra lightweight
Does anyone knows if the Combat rail is rigid enough for laser and will hold zero?
Can you use these with a barrel nut that was on prior? For instance, switching the old handguards out for a new version.
Thanks for the review, i bought the MI rear sight. I love the intermediate sized aperture hole. Great for picking up the target quickly
anyone know if that rear sight will match up with the HK front hood profile ?
these or magpie bus pros? I cant decide
12.625 inches would be perfect for my 13.7 plus flash hider!!! would have about a couple inches or so sticking out… and No that's not what she said…… (maybe not) 🤔 😆
Thanks man, I’m building my first AR. I think I will try one of these.
Thanks good content
How do these sights stack up against the Magpul MBUS Pro sights?

Hey I just want to thank you for this video on the iron sights and especially the part about pushing them forward when installing them. I have a couple sets that I installed awhile ago but never did it like that. I will go back and do that just to make sure I don't have any issues. Question for you, have you ever swap out the front post with something thinner for better accuracy? If so which manufacture if not thanks again.
I have the 15” MI Combat Rail on my 16” carbine. I have no complaints at all!
Really like this channel! Like that you review thing that aren’t always the Geissele/DD/BCM of the worlds. Not everyone can justify a $400 rail.
On the Slimline model you can see a gap between the handguard and receiver and you can tell the top rails
are uneven. Are these imperfections normal? How would the unevenness of the pic rails affect iron sights?
Looking at an LPVO for my rifle and was curious about the rear sight. Thank you for confirming the space for eye relief, especially with an ACOG.
Torn between saving money & getting one of these or going with the BCM MCM. Its a $70 price difference, but the BCM inspires more confidence in me just due to my history with them. Ive never used MI, is it GTG? As good as BCM?
How does it work with a carbine length with fsb?
I love my combat rail. I don't know if anyone ever got the STNGR rails who said they patented this exact barrel nut and handgaurd retention design but am I alone here in wondering how midwest got this? It's imo bomb proof and the best design for handgaurd retention but midwest didn't come up with the design.
Just pulled the trigger on the combat sights. The set is $116 on Devor.
Could anyone help me? I have a 10.5 barrel and am looking for a handrail length that will get as close to the muzzle threads as possible to be able to mount a silencer as flush as possible.
I have a SIG m400 I need these foregrips so I can mount iron sights
3:35 Wrong! NO it doesn't prevent the barrel nut from going forward, it prevents the hand guard from moving forward.
Would this work with piston driven ar's?
Thanks for the review. I was considering this handguard. Now I know I'm going with this one.
Just bought one of these for a 13.7 build so i'm curious to hear what you think of them.
I've had the MI rails before and never really trusted the friction fit style handguards. I just wonder how well the handguard would hold up to heavy use and torquing.
Probably wouldn't come off, but it makes me a little unsure about it
