The bill has been scheduled for a hearing in the House Public Safety and Finance and Policy Committee on Thursday April 4th at 10:30 am. HF 2609 was amended with vague and ambiguous language banning certain firearm triggers. Despite committee questions and push back during the hearing on how this language could potentially implicate many common factory installed triggers, the bill was passed with the amendment.
