Optics in videogames are the jelly to the peanut butter. Star Citizen is adding a lot of improvements to optics and so I want to look at optics across the board and analyze their representations in game compared to their real world counterparts. At the same time, my hope is that we all understand exactly how they work and
the differences between their function. This starts with us taking a look at the classic red dot and the holographic sight.
