the worst experience i have ever had with an ar15 manufacturer. please watch my whole video before you get upset, i could have been way more harsh on these ARs and if you have one that works i am very happy for you.

  1. Ironically just about 6-7 weeks ago a friend of mine, he ended up in a self defense shoot out at his home, with a 7.5" BCA 7.62X39 that he had bought Summer 2023, and he was telling me that after firing 6 -7 rounds, it failed to function. Fortunately that was the end of the shootout but it could have been worse. I also have to interdict that the gun was dry, and not oiled, prior to the shootout, or ever that I know of according to what he told me! Still yet after just 6-7 rounds it failed to function it should have went longer than that.

  2. I have a 10.5 5.56 BCA. I purchased it knowing they are problematic. I wasn’t let down. My gun had a bad bolt, which gave the gun have short headspace by .002. Swapped to a cmmg bolt and the BCA firing pin started creating a burr at the back of it after 20 rounds. That also was replaced by a cmmg.

  3. 7.62×39 is not a good caliber for an AR, would never buy a Gas Impingement system on 7.62×39. now me personally, I have not had one hiccup with their 5.56 uppers and completely shoots better than my buddies rifles. Also on top of that, they changed their ownership after the ICE bust. Also it is good practice for any single person when they buy a firearm regardless of the price to go over everything and make sure it's either to spec or locktite everything.

  4. I have a 5.56 nato upper from them and it has always worked fine. I don't know that I would buy a 7.62×39 from them though as even the most reliable brands have terrible track records with this caliber in the ar15 platform.

  5. I own over 10 different brands of Ars… haven’t had any issues I bought the same upper you have, took to the range shot 5 rounds and boom the firing on sheared off. I ordered Black Rifle enhanced stuck it in went back to the range shot one mag and the whole buffer weight came apart inside my buffer tube. Upon inspection it didn’t have a retaining pin to hold the weights in. So might wanna inspect if you buy. Once I get my new one in I’ll go give it another try.

  6. I have a 10.5 7.62 from them and i had replaced the firing pin, extractor and upgraded the hammer spring after that i havnt had a issue with it I have a feeling The reason bca has prices so low is because they are using cheapass small parts which on one had i can kinda understand for the price difference but at the same time if a parts breaks to the point the rifle doesnt function was it really worth making it so cheap. Also keep in mind mine was a bday gift and i felt bad just getting rid of it.

  7. I actually have the side charging 300BLKand a 6.5 Grendel that I have not fired yet, but my 300BLK runs just fine. One company that I do have a problem with is Anderson Arms. I purchased an AR15 Pistol 5.56 complete build from them during Covid, and when I finally got a chance to fire it, it never worked. I even sent it to a gunsmith, and he stated I had to run it. Well, it has to work 1st double feed failure to eject you name it. Well, being a veteran, I decided to do a few I learned, and it turns out it was the extractor that needed an O Ring around the spring a it ran well I stripped it down and made another Pistol . Never the less I'm not doughting about the viewer's delema, but I have never had a problem with BCA. 7 62×39 Isn't an AR15 caliber and is known for the extractor issue. I'm not defending BCA it's just in my personal experience and opinion. It's a great video. Oh, at the end, that looks to be a mag issue ijs

  8. Sounds like their QC has actually gone downhill even further over the past few years. I've built a good number of ARs for people, generally using both PSA and BCA uppers. I would buy them assembled, but tear them down and reassemble them to my liking. I never had even close to any of these issues, all I saw was screws that were loose and needing tightened from either manufacturer. I only worked with 5.56 uppers though, 223 wylde chambers.
