Here I take off the stock Ruger buttstock and install the Hogue Collapsible Overmold STock. Its a great stock

Yay to no wiggle! I have this same stock, but I had to switch to a fixed one since I may move to a Draconian state (folding or telescoping stocks are seen as evil features under the AWB). Appreciate the installation demonstration.
Mine wasn't hard to pull tabs down with fingers. I love mine, no rattle, fits snug
For anyone watching in 2021+ I would like to help add to your decision making. The other stock he mentions came on my Ruger AR556 MPR I bought in late 2019. The Magpul MOE slim. I do not like it and will be buying the one in the video above. The slim over all is great, my only complaint is the square shape of the end of the stock. As you can see in the video above the hogue has a rounded end. I found that the magpul bit into my shoulder after extended use. It is a comfort issue for me.

I'm really surprised there aren't more videos on hogue stocks. I'm buying an Anderson complete lower with hogue grip and stock for my first AR. In fact that's why I'm going with Anderson. They are the only budget lower I could find with hogue furniture.
I can't believe more people don't use Hogue grips and butt stocks their miles better than anything else.
