This video will help guide you on how to install our one of our Ultimate Dust Covers. The newest line, The Billet Ultimate Dust Cover as well as the rest of our dust covers can follow the same install guidelines stated in this video.

When adjusting the ball-detent for opening and closing strength, we strongly recommended you apply some loc-tight to the ball-detent thread after final adjustments.

  1. FYI..your 308 version does not operate well with the psa 10 gen 3. The seal is great but there is to much material on the bottom and back side to open correctly…I know just tried one 😧

  2. Installed it on my Franklin Armory AR pistol. Removed the factory dust cover, installed this upgrade aaand wouldn't close no matter how much adjustment of the set screw I did. Very nice, now I have to find a replacement because this piece of shit wouldn't work.

People warned me about this brand, should have listened.

  3. Love these. Quick question. Is there a reason this would have slightly scratched/gouged my upper receiver in the middle of the little ball/detent area? I am running a PWS upper, but noticed some unusual wear after opening and closing a few times. It looks like the adjustment screw is causing it.

  4. While it's nice and lighter than the mil-spec factory style dust cover, the little rubber bumpers are of no use as they don't prevent the cover from striking the top of the lower whatsoever. At least on my Springfield Saint, the cover fits perfect but the bumpers don't do anything.

  5. I installed a polymer UDC on a dedicate Rimfire receiver and it will not stay closed with the bolt in battery. A light tap causes it to spring open. It positively snaps shut when the bolt is retracted so it is not the receiver. Is there a known issue with Rimfire ARs because of the smaller cutout in the bolt? I did not see anything in the documentation for the UDC.
