It is tempting to go for the cheap scopes since you might have spent a lot on the gun, the bullets, and other accessories. However, good glass does not come cheap. A lot of engineering goes into the glass, making sure that you get a clear parallax-free picture with clean edges, and of course while also being able to withstand the outdoor conditions.

The concept of “buy once, cry once” also applies to rifle scopes. If you want to have a positive experience, you need to spend a bit more on your glass. Sure, it is a bigger up-front investment but it is better to pay once and get a solid scope that lasts a very long time. If you cheap out, you end up with a scope with bad image quality that malfunctions easily and you end up spending more on cheap scopes.

That said, you don’t have to take out a loan to get a solid scope either. I have ten scopes that offer the best performance for its price point, in no particular order. As per protocol, the links are in the description below so make sure to check it out.

  1. I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

  2. Lost me when called the Burris Fullfield ii (2) the Fullfield eleven. Sorry, sounds like you have no experience with these scopes, and are just reading promotional ad copy on your video

  3. Great video, I really appreciate you taking the time to produce first rate videos. Also the information you share is Right on Target (excuse the pun) I found your information to be accurate timely and very helpful. Be well, and I will continue watching.

  4. UTG 4-16×44 compact or long…150$-. Element Optics Helix 6-24×50 FFP or SFP both under 500$ the first under 400$. The UTG will handle a springer airgun! I’m an Airgunner so consider the source right. Not much into springers but my PCPs cost more than most powder burners and these scopes are very accurate and reliable. Just saying. Great review either way. Great job!👍 I have the RITON X-1 Conquer on a .25 caliber American Air Arms SK-19 and it is a freaking tack driver. Love this scope also. For 180$ for the Roton…can’t go wrong🔥 SK-19…2100+$…got to love it to pay it right?🤷‍♂️❤️ Love the modern PCPs more now than ever…especially with the cost and availability of ammo.
