I've done this several ways. First, I used inflatable bottlecaps and 20oz mountain dew bottles. Pumped to 100 psi and hit with a pellet gun, blew it up rather nicely. Then I used Firebird exploding targets. Just stick two together and stick that to the front door, again pellet gun. NICE! I found out though that I was just setting them off with the pellet gun and not sitting them on a firm backing. about a foot of 2×4 into the ground, placed the house over the 2×4 and firmly against the front door with the firebird target on the front again. SOOO much louder. This year, Tannerite.
