  1. when the 2nd amendment was penned, the weapons held in the hands of private citizens were far superior to the small arms of the military. most were hand made by craftsmen. accuracy at any distance was far superior. as they utilized rifling and caliber size for their intended purposes. hunting and self defense.
military were mass produced in larger caliber solely for the purpose of causing as much damage to whatever it hit. smothered in larger calibers. they didn't need accuracy as armies stood shoulder to shoulder in battle formation.
now we're supposed to only be allowed something far more inferior.

  2. we are quibbling about the definitions. They do not care about the words they use…. they purposely use bombastic verbiage to distract us in their argument.
You can explain how they are wrong until you are blue in the face.

These people want you helpless… and they will do or say anything to convince you to give up your rights.
The want you helpless and fearful…
Helpless and fearful people are easy to control.
The Government has no business telling me what weapons I may use. The Government can only punish me if I use those weapons to purposely harm other citizens…. UNJUSTLY.

  3. It drives me crazy when gun rights advocates fall into the stupid trap of arguing that an AR 15 isn’t a “weapon of war”… All guns are weapons of war!! It’s a meaningless phrase lol

  4. Thank you, Mr. Ayoob.
Any weapon is a "military" weapon. Especially in the realm of weapons bearable by an individual, there is no logical distinction between a military weapon and a non- military weapon. At need, a soldier will use a bow and arrow, a spear, a rock, hands, feet, elbows, and teeth. All are military weapons. They are also mighty fine weapons for people who are not soldiers, and it is absurd to argue that they (or semi-automatic firearms) should be banned because they are "weapons of war."

  5. The fact that its semi auto makes it more dangerous in the hands of someone who wants to do harm. If accuracy isn't a concern you can quickly learn to bump the trigger without the use of any aftermarket parts, and if accuracy is of concern, the shooter would be better off in semi.

  6. When your referring to your fellow Americans as "the other side" it's pretty clear that you've lost sight of what makes us such a great nation . They're not the other side , they are our fellow Americans , the uninformed weirdos ? Maybe so but no less our fellow Americans. We would all do well to remember there are no "other sides " there's only "we the people "

  7. I bought binary triggers, but any semi-auto can be bumped, with or without a bump stock. The 2nd Amendment protects machine guns, they didn't studder like Biden, they said shall not infring. A child just learning the word, can understand it well enough.
