5:00 & 9:58 The MUR upper is forged,not billet. It is a chonky boi though! Thicker walled than a regular ol' mil-spec.

FYI for my “dream build” I went with a Sons lower East India upper and there is ZERO movement between them. Same exact trigger as you, Aimpoint w magnifier on a Unity, Arisaka 300 light, JP muzzle device, Magpul furniture. Geissele CMMG and Radian components.
I love your channel and appreciate what you are doing, bc I think you’re building your dream rifle correctly- one desired part at a time.
BUT- I did something similar and had a problem where my receiver set did t match up properly and it messed with my head until I fixed it, and it hurt a ton to fix it, but I’m happier now. I used a Radian lower and a SOLGW upper and the match was just not good enough considering how much I’d spent and what I was trying to do.
What I’m getting at- I think the gap at the rear is gonna drive you nuts. I only say this bc I really like your channel and you’re a genuine guy who I think appreciates honesty. If you were to try an ADM upper, I think you’ll find you can use the FCD part and you’ll get a flawless fit.

I start to building a rifle also then i seen your video and we build almost the same rifle lmao…and on muzzle's DeadAir sandman, Nox flash hider or surefire…im going with a 13.9 barrel from Rosco , still work on which upper and going to pin and weld also…
I have a 13.5" midwest industries night fighter rail with 13.9" BA Hanson barrel and p/w griffin armament 2.75" flash hider. Suppressor mounting surface clears by just over 1/8th inch 😏 perfeecctttt
