I bought this Scorpion Master 9 LED flashlight almost three weeks ago. I took it out between 4 and 6 times. Now the flash light fails. Wrote the company an email and no reply. I will not be buying there products again.

I had purchased two of these. The first one broke the same way as yours. The store would not replace it, so I bought a second one. I needed the UV light bulbs in this type of handheld flashlight for my work.
The second flashlight did the same thing as the first one. Flickering light and totally undependable.
But that wasn't the REAL problem!
The second flashlight was in the "off" and had been placed in my tool bag. I was on a job when I noticed smoke coming out of my tool bag and emptied the bag out immediately. The batteries in the Scorpion Master were so hot that they started to burn the cotton batting cloth I keep in my bag.
PLEASE throw your flashlight away and, if you insist upon keeping it, TAKE THE BATTERIES OUT OF THIS FLASHLIGHT! All of these LED body flashlights are a standard design that comes form China. One factory, I believe. Scorpion Master replaces the standard LED bulbs with UV bulbs to make a proprietary product. Whatever is wrong with this flashlight must originate in the factory and Scorpion Master should seriously, SERIOUSLY look into it.
