  1. Military test for a 16 inch barrel is 600 meters=656 yards. So definitely doable. As well as this being a 7 year old video. Pistols can do what you were saying is the 16 inch stats

  2. My God new gun owners these people are complete idiot's for God sake don't use a rifle for home defense unless you trying the people that live behind what you are shooting at these fool's are the main reason for all of the children getting killed in there homes listening to fools like this

  3. 14.5 or 14.7 that's been pin/weld to 16" with a lightweight chf barrel with a good handguard from Midwest industries or SOLGW with a RELIABLE and REPUTABLE BCG from SOLGW or BCM…. When it comes to the lower you can REALLY save some money. As long as you have a reliable lower parts kit you can save a boat load of money. If you HAVE to spend money on a complete lower then there's nothing wrong with PSA but I wouldn't spend any more than an Aero lower. What's great about putting together your own lower is that you can save ALOT of money on the furniture if you put it on yourself. Imo the best furniture out there BY FAR is made by bcm for both stock and pistol grip. Stay away from gimmicky BAD levers or 45Β° safety selector and honestly stay away from ambidextrous controls period. Oh yea, almost forgot one of the most important parts…. STAY AWAY from carbine length gas system and go with midlength!

  4. Meh, doesn't really matter with a .22 caliber pea shooter imo. I shot consecutive experts with both the M16A2 and the M4 during my career. If I was looking distance I dump any of my AR15s and go to my QD10 in the .308 win.

  5. Most home defense situations in my metropolitan area is probably within 50 yards, anything beyond that is could be questionable in the eyes of the law. Ask the roof top Koreans. Something smaller and lighter is better for me.
