  1. I got this one for free at optics planet when I bought ATN X-Sight 4k Pro scope. It's $169 value! I couldn't believe it. I thought they were trying to sell it to me. The tripod is superb!

  2. Great video. Straight to the point overview of the Bog DG
I purchased one with for a killer deal. Plus $100 off a Rise Armament
    Advance Performance Trigger.
I have the two 140s a Blitz. Looking forward to dropping the 535 in a new Foxtrot Mike side folder AR I've been breaking in. Along with some 77 grain hand-loaded 5.56 ammo. Going to head to Texas this fall and see if I can take down some Hog with the Bog.
I recently started using a camera tripod that I bought at a military auction in the early 90s. It's heavy duty. Just placing the rifle on there and shooting with no clamp or mount. I liked it so much I look for a dedicated shooting tripod. The bog death-grip is half the weight.

  3. I would think VERY seriously before buying one of these BOG DeathGrip tripods. Many forums complain about the leg clamps (6) breaking. They are made of pot metal and are NOT quality. Adding insult to injury…. BOG Customer "Support" will not even SELL you replacement part after the 1 year warranty expires. Which means that if your DeathGrip sits in your closet all year and breaks your first trip to the field….. YOU'RE FU*KED. So again….. think long and hard BEFORE you purchase from BOG. OH…BTW, the ONLY solution BOG offered me was to offer a discount on another DeathGrip. I told BOG Customer "Support" to……. well you can guess.

  4. I absolutely love mine as well. Its easy to set up and use. You can go from a standing, sitting, kneeling, to prone supported in seconds. It's really nice to be able to go from almost any platforms of long guns. Just by switching weapons. No need for attachments to switch from flat, picatinny, and MLOC. The only real note is that you need to check the gripping surface periodically to insure proper sight and safety adjustments are made. Not so much with small caliber. Mainly for large caliber rounds and shotguns.

  5. Thanks for your constant hard work helping us poor folk save money while thoroughly indulging our gun addictions! You are a faithful friend to the 2A commUNITY! KEEP GOING FRIEND!!!

  6. Not been able to use mine yet. Too heavy ( the carbon fiber one) and awkward for hunting around here and every range I go to has a bench. Maybe someday I’ll get to use it.

The biggest fail from bog is the tripod not coming with a strap. I had to make my own using a Prusik knot,550 cord, and leftover 2” webbing.

I actually took mine hunting with me and set it up in a blind but I immediately switched back to a shooting stick. The tripod is pretty awkward in even a 4 man blind with just 1 person in it.
