  1. Congrats on the Thrunite spokesman spot!! Little story that happened to me. 6, 7 months back, Thrunite had a sale on the tiny AAA. 10 for $30!!
I had a few EDC kits I had put together for some friends and was looking for a decent little flashlight. I found through a friend, 5 Olights (AAA) for $50 on FB. I figured the Thrunite deal is better. So I ordered. Next day or 2 days later, after the order was completed and the payment was processed, I get an email saying they're not available in Canada!! So I tried to get the other ones, but, they were gone. That pissed me off big time!! With all of the programs and fail safes out there, why didn't the system pick up it was a Canadian order and not process the order? That mishap cost me $80 to get 4 flashlights to put in the kits. So needless to say I am not impressed with them. Sad cause they do seem to make good products. In the meantime, I sent out Trustfire MC12s, and they're awesome!!! The people who got them love them! In any case, Kudos on the job!! LOL Cheers

  2. Personally, I much prefer the Olight I5R because it's much more slender/narrower and therefore more comfortable clipped to my pants pocket. Also, I can quickly pull the Olight I5R from my pants pocket and use its tail switch to easily/quickly turn the flashlight on!!! Also, I honestly don't think that this flashlight comparison is fair at all because a flashlight comparison should be done with flashlights using the same type of batteries. Example compare all flashlights just using AA, then compare all flashlights just using AAA. Why, because the Thrunite W1 is using a 16340 battery which is obviously significantly more powerful than a 14500 or a similar AA battery so of course, the Thrunite W1 will have a higher lumen output!!!! Jeff let's be honest here, this Flashlight comparison test you did in this video for Thrunite is obviously skewed in Thrunites favor for sure!!! A much more accurate and fair flashlight comparison would be to compare the new Thrunite W1 to the Olight Baton 3(also uses 16340 battery) but also comes in a charging case which was released a few months ago!!!!
