  1. I know this is off topic but nobody seems to be able to answer my questions about barrel length the question is what is the true effective difference between a 13.7" vs a 14.5" what are the pros and cons both lengths? I plan on getting one or the other, and it will be my primary weapon, used for just about everything. I have a 16" at present and it feels awkward and nose heavy to the extent it gets tedious. Please help with suggestions of lengths?

  2. awesome content: I've been wanting to do a 9mm PCC conversion build myself, just to much of a loser poor, and it sucks because parts, are at an all time low, and I know its not going to last much longer!

  3. How about a 9mm specific length buffer? A standard length AR-15 buffer is too short and too light for 9mm. Your way might be the cheapest, but it is not correct.

  4. The top loading mag adapters that lock in with set screws prevent a accidental mag adapters dropping out if you hit the stock mag release. I have seen a receivers bolt release pin hole modified to allow you to swap out caliber quickly. The modifications that are required drill and tap the rear hole on the bolt release like the AR 10 receivers are. Then install the shoulder pin set screw. Swap out is between the normal rifle and the Colt style 9mm pistol Bho is less that three minutes to do. I think you can get away with just tapping the rear hole if the hole of the bolt hold open is already drilled for the stock roll pin. You should be able to find a tutorial for the AR 10 80% receivers that cover the BHO Installation. Thread is a 6×32 x16? I was a certified gunsmith that built Ar 10 and 15 for years. However recently I lose everything lost all my tools and references in a theft /fire recently at my property.
