Always carry a field repair kit when going out. I keep an eye dropper with oil/lube, firing pin, a few firing pin retainer pins, cam pin, extractor springs and donut, hammer/trigger springs, buffer detent and spring, and even a spare bolt and an extra sprinco buffer spring. All of that fits in a small😮 flat Plano tackle box from Walmart except for the buffer spring but they come in a tube and fits in the range bag very easily.
You can get rid of several of those parts just by bringing a spare bolt or better yet, complete bcg. Most people don't shoot alot and probably don't need the extra buffer tube either
Are you sure you went into the military? You don’t seem to know your way around your firearm. I watched a few of your short clips and a soldier from the US Army would be proficient with their firearm: especially an AR15 and all of its components & functionality. My comment is not to be hateful or negative, I am just asking a question upon careful observation from your words & actions.
I can’t imagine how many people would lose their shit if a chick did this exact video saying she helped a girl steal one from a guy 😂 99% of comments would be y’all losing your damn minds
The firing pin retaining pin. Don’t ever take apart your bolt carrier group in the field. Field stripping is just major assemblies that can be easily and quickly maintained and reassembled if contact is taken.

Before your son joins the army, give him a dozen cotter pins. He can sell them to those who lose it.

I promise you the military has plenty of spare parts. It just depends on how far you had to run. And how many push-ups it took to get it.
