  1. I have a magnifier and an lpvo. The lpvo has better glass. Every time I use my magnifier I wish I was on my lpvo. Also, the time you need to flip up the magnifier is about the same as turning up an lpvo to 4x.

  2. I just got the vortex micro 3 today, you literally have to have your eye touching the magnifier..Im really struggling seeing how are okay with that. the holosun 3x I had years ago had way better eye relief

  3. I wish i could find a lpvo that would auto turn on. That is why I use holosun aems red dot and vortex 3x micro. When you need quick, red dot all the way. Thanks for the info. Great video.

  4. Instead of opening a gun store. Open a “tactical” accessory store or airsoft store. There’s also the option to build a range / store where people can try before they buy

  5. great info on magnifiers: Really I just wish I could afford a magnifier,. especially with a Unity lift mount, but really at this point, I would be tickled just to have a magnifier with a flip mount!

  6. I personally run Romeo 5 XDR's on all of my AR's. They have a 65 MOA ring that you can turn on and off separately if you want. I use it all the time because it helps me to find the red dot instantly, as soon as my eye even starts to go behind the sight. They are set up at 1.63 lower third co witness to my flip ups. They use AAA batteries, that you can find anywhere, and have the shake awake feature that helps the battery last for at least 30,000 hours.
Behind them I run a Juliet 4, also at 1.63, on my .450 build, and Juliet 6's on my 5.56 builds. I find that by the time people want magnification, they skip right on by 2 or 3 mag, and head for at least 4 mag, if not higher.
It's cheaper, simpler, less moving parts to break, and I can take it off in seconds if I don't need it. I'm not going to buy into every new thing just because it's on youtube. LOL. Great info, and nice video. I just subbed.

  7. 3x mag is pointless. The weight added vs 3x mag doesn't add up. Gave away my eotech 3x. 4x-6x mag is the only way to go if you go this route. Seriously anyone pushing a 3x mag better be partially blind, over 80yr

  8. I bought the Vortex Micro 3x as a placeholder for when the new EOTech micro came out and you couldn’t find them. I ended up liking it so much I just kept it. I recently upgraded to the Unity mount and it’s great with my EXPS3 on a riser. What I like about the magnifiers is the ability to take them off when not using. I use dot/magnifier on short rifles and LPVO’s on the longer barreled setups. Just what works for me.

  9. This past year i have started running a reddot and magnifier. I always loved red dots but wanted magnification but never found the right lpvo for myself. I use a Aimpoint Duty and vortex magnifier and absolute my favorite optic set up.
