billet is NOT stronger than forged lmao. That alone just made me stop listening to anything the guy was saying.
Should the accuracy test be done before or after you gets used to your gun. I shoot but I’ve never done this or had the range to do so(texas) but I found an outside range and wanted to know how to do this.
Can y’all do a video on how to test barrel for accuracy. Which brand/grain weight work for your gun. How and which ammo do you zero your ar with? Do you zero before the accuracy test?
Do they reload? Tell them to make Grendel ammo please
Sorry that is not true forged is in fact stronger than non forged aluminum if that truly is the case then take out all of the forged pistons out of the diesel engines and we will put billet in see how long they would last I would say not very long!!!!! Great video!!!!!
The music is irritating. Why? Talk or play music, but not at the same time. Please.
🤮🤮🤮
100 foot pounds on the barrel nut…
That’s go to be a no from me.
🦥
What brand is the vertical fore grip on the Colt?
A lot of red flags
The ammo and glass. That's it.
This guy is straight up lying about his billet receivers. Forgings are without a doubt stronger than billet because the forging process changes the grain structure of the metal in a good way whereas billet cannot possibly be stronger because you're taking material and cutting it with a mill. There is no way to make a material stronger by removing said material via cutting so billet cannot be stronger than a forging of the same size and weight. It is not possible.
Also, 8 thou of an inch is .2032mm which is to say…very minimal. How can 8thou add up to over 3moa?? I'd like to know how they came to that conclusion.
In USMC we had to qualify out to 500 meters M16A2 IRON sights no optics.
5.56 is not a long range round, I've been able to hit black out to 800 meters but that doesn't make it EFFECTIVE.
barrel nut torque specs are 30 min 80-85 max foot pounds for the M16/AR15 barrel nut the guy stating 30 to 40 is inaccurate.
said a couple other things that are inaccurate.
Both of them I saw it.
Snow Mexicans have law enforcement??
Would like to see it on Texas plinking
The dumb ass magwell and muzzle break …. Cmon can’t take this seriously
I have a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 Pro and I tried to see if there was any movement. I got no Movement at all. I don't really do long range shooting but mine is 1/2 MOA at 100 yards. Try one of your DD and see what you think. They have a unique system of mounting barrel and hand guard. Just wondering.
This channel is going down the drain FAST.
I like tight ARs. But why does the slop effect accuracy. The scope and the bolt and the barrel are all on the top receiver.
Every company using forgings say they are stronger and more consistent, yet every company using bullet says the same thing?!
Ammo type and load caveats would have been nice to include in another chapter of this discussion
Impressive. How’s the reliability?
Where do I buy that colt Canada one ?
Just cerakote the upper and lower boom no or limited play.
Seems like there are several scientific inaccuracies and contradictions here.
Kaya needs to only handle full size rifles on camera. He made that ADM look like a child's squirt gun! 😂😂😂
Wow! I want one.
Locking the upper and lower together like that sold me!
That is the gayest thumbnail I have ever seen on a gun channel
That is the gayest thumbnail I have ever seen on a gun channel
I've been contemplating buying Bear Creek Arsenals 24" 6.5 Grendel upper just to see how accurate it is
Hold on, are we hearing the play in the free float system?
Being the idiot that I am, how does the lower to upper fit effect the accuracy of the gun? The barrel is attached to the upper and so is the scope. If the upper moved a little wouldn't you see it in the scope when looking at the target? Not saying it doesn't matter, I just want to know WHY it matters. The lower only holds the trigger, magazine and the stock. In theory everything related to the accuracy should be in the upper. Barrel, handguard, bolt, sights.
Sorry, i wouldn't buy anything from that company. Heard way too many fibbs in this video.
Huh. I genuinely had no idea about that industry standard of 8/1000's of an inch of play. I wonder if that's miraculously why my AR is a pretty decent shooter? Through complete and utter luck, I've got almost ZERO rattle between my Aero upper and Anderson lower. There's the tiniest bit of wiggle that you REALLY have to be looking for to notice. I saw that colt rattle like a windchime in a hurricane and was curious about my own. The only rattle is from the slightly loose fitting buttstock. Otherwise you've really gotta twist it to notice a wiggle. Or maybe it's the rattle can paint job filling in some of the spaces? Or maybe some of both?
Either way, learned something new today. Thanks gang!
Kaya has to be trolling with this type of commentary about the tightness between upper and lowers….no dang way
A Krieger Barrel.
No doubt they build accurate rifles and are definitely doing the right things but I’m pretty sure billet aluminum is not stronger than forged. They hold different breaking properties but forged is stronger if I remember correctly
I take a little piece of Gorilla tape and put it on the top of the lower where it meets the upper. No wobble at all. makes the take down pin a little harder to push in, but… works for me. Costs nothing.
Im an ak guy, but a few years ago i picked up a varmint rifle with a 20 imch 223 wylde bull barrel, the rest is bare bones, a2 stock, dpms lower. Shoots fine but now im itxhing to take it out again
Man I was really hoping they would get into real specifics for a long range AR. Barrel length, twist rates, best barrel coating, best manufacturer for component, best scopes or types. This video was half about the upper and lower fitting well.
What makes a long range ar15? Without watching this long winded video i can tell you the answer is a good 18" or longer barrel chambered in either .224valk or 6.5gren, an adjustable competition trigger, and a medium-to-high powered variable optic. Ive shot 5.56 out to 700 meters and lets just say i wouldnt choose it as a dedicated long range cartridge, unless it was for practicing with a rifle you already have, or you handload. If buying a new rifle setup just for long range stuff you may as well get an AR10
That my friend is very interesting 🤔🧂🧂🇺🇸
