When changing gas rings, always point the sharp edge of the 3 rings towards the bolt tail.. Never use a metal scraper to remove carbon..Use plenty of oil, people tend to under lube their bolts and carriers…If you mark the top of the cam pin and place it in the same direction it will only wear on one side..
