Worth mentioning, especially for reloaders, that the Socom uses a .458 slug while the Bushmaster uses a .452 bullet. Similar, but defiinitely not interchangeable.

When wanting big and powerful do as I did build an AR 10 upper in 375 – 300 WSM that matches the 375 H&H mag

I have both the 450-B and the 50 Beo. I have hunted deer with both on multiple occasions. The 450 outperformed the 50 Beo every time, consistently putting animals down quicker and cleaner. This is not to say the 50 Beo isn't good for hunting. As a reloader, I have found that there are simply many more choices for the 450B and have simply not found a good working combination for the 50 Beo as of yet.

Wonder which one recoils most

Does bca make or plan to make in the near future a tank style muzzle brake for the 12.7×42 or 50 beowulf

I love the .450 bushmaster I have had it for about 3 years and no problems 100% reliable and accurate my deer gun

The best use I've found for my 50 beowulf is to scare the crap out of the people next to me at the gun range.

It would be nice if you guys come out with a ar pistol that is bufferless like the PLR 16

I really have no experience with these calibers. Could any of these be considered for use as Anti-material? So far I stuck with 300WM but would love a AR platform semi-auto that could do the job. (I think there are 2 manufacturers of 300WM ar style rifles but they are exorbitantly expensive)

Beowulf has been around for some time and ammo was reasonable up until recently. I was paying $1.25 per round. And it is a hoss.

Will you guys be making any powder coated or cerakoted uppers that are rear charging

My favorite is the 450. I live and hunt in one of the restricted areas, and when my state legalized 450, it changed my hunting completely. It's powerful and accurate while having manageable recoil. Ammo is fairly common, and if you can't or don't want to hunt with an AR, there's plenty of bolt rifles chambered for it

Man forget BUTT CRACK ARSENAL. I ORDERED A LOWER RECEIVER FROM THEM AND ITS BEEN 5 WEEKS NOW AND STILL NOTHING. AND when I messaged customer service they said it usually takes 14 business days so give it some time. And last I checked 5 weeks was way longer than 14 business days

450 bush is not a straight wall. It is also limited to ar-15 pressures and metallurgy, and uses a small rifle primer. 45 raptor is a straight wall, uses LR primers, identical case as 308, and ballistically superior. 450 was presented to subjugate 45 raptor.

So how come the grendel and beowulf both came from AA but the grendel doesn't seem to need the additional permission from AA that the beowulf does?

Still think you should standardize on only using grendel bolts for the 6.5g, 50b, and 7.62*39.

Bear Creek make me a 20" bull barrel in stainless with a target crown not threaded in 350L , I love my 18" just want a heavier one bull barrel no threads

Got my 458 socom last week and just ordered 450 bushmaster Thursday waiting for it to show up

I have 3 of there 12.7×42 uppers, love them all. Keep 1 as my truck riffle. Next I'm getting a pistol upper in the same caliber.

I have a 500 auto max from bighorn….shoots the SW 500…it's a nasty gun with more power than allll 3 of them…check it out

Had the fifty. Prefer the 45 though. Yea I’m odd. Just more reloading projectile options.

Outstanding video, my friend! Appreciate the honest evaluation between these three big bore thumpers. I have been considering a 450 Bushmaster build for some time. Currently, the the price for ammunition in general is making this particular hurdle a little more challenging than normal.
