I want to see a comparison between the PLXc and the March 1-8 “shorty” w/ dual focal plane. Yes, you read that right…

Would you say the PLX-C is usable to the 800 yard/meter bdc without the ability to side focus? Or is it not viable at that distance based on clarity?

I'll never spend over a grand on a scope that isn't for Hunting/ precision purposes.
I think I only have one scope that's over 1k.
It's sitting on my waypoint.
I have zero issues hitting out to 700+ yards with my $300 dollar, gen 3 slx 1-6. I guess if I ever have to worry about the 1x on it, which is highly unlikely, I'll switch over to my sidearm.

With all those stadia lines, i feel like if you were looking from a distance into heavy brush or a tree line, it may be difficult to detect slight movements due to not being able to recognize actual movement because it may look like something is moving if a line/lines move by a branch or shadow.
Now that im done with that run on sentence, id say its way too busy. It may work for bench rest shooters but not practical for defense

I'm on the fence about getting this one in with the BDC in meters or getting the Vortex HD Gen II 1-6x…I know you lose 2x but not a big deal for my use, I'm brand new to LPVOs, I'm a pistol shooter; any advice from more experienced scope shooters?

Hey man I’ve been having a lot of questions about putting an LPVO on a rifle with a FPS. I see you have your FPS here. Does the FPS interfere with your sight picture of the LPVO? What height of scope mount would you recommend for the most open sight picture? How does your field of view look?

EDIT: Its an LPVO. Not meant for SPR setups, but does a great job for a GPR setup is essentially what video states.

Also, have you tested out the new GLX 3-18 or the old GLX 2x prism? Would be interested to hear your assessment of them. Finally, is the Scopeswitch worth it or nah?

I wish you would post a video on a Viper PST II. I'm sure you own/owned one in the past and I would love to hear your perspective on it, I know it's not new hotness and is generally accepted as the best sub $700 LPVO.

Ive taken this scope(meter version) out to 539yds on a 6arc and it did great. Plan was to replace it with a NF 3-18 but as well as it did im not going to change it out. I swapped out the top cap with the optional dial and im glad i did.

I would like to see this scope with the NOVA reticle.

Have a strike eagle 1-6 opmod sfp on my super duty atm. I already have an eotech exps3-0 with a g33 combo. So, looking to upgrade my strike eagle to a better lpvo, is this worth the money to upgrade? The glass clarity, eye box/eye relief only planning on shooting 10-400 yards for training!

1x reticle is the main reticle on an LPVO imo.. it should be setup as such with good clarity, reticle to the user, and then a useable 6x/8x

After seeing your review on the Primary Arms SLX I bought one for $305 with mount. I’m new to LPVOs and this was my first one. I’m very happy with it especially with the Nova reticle. I guess the PLX is the gold standard now and maybe one day I’ll have one. Optic technology is moving fast and it’s expensive trying to keep up.

It’s a great scope, but at 1500 a couple hundred more dollars and you can get into an NX8. Buy once cry once. Japanese glass < Philippine glass.

Beware of anything made by ATN. I bought a high end Thor 4 thermal rifle scope. I had to send it back 7 times. It came defective every time. Finally when I got the last one, I sold it on eBay taking a loss. They wouldn’t give my money back, just kept replacing it. What a joke
