@TFBTV and @JamesReeves are at @Brownells with @theguncollective covering #GunCon2023. In this episode, James speaks with Stern Defense about their innovative new quick-detach AR-15 stock: The RAB-AD (Rapid Attach Buttstock Adapter). This stock comes off your AR-15 and goes back on in one second, allowing your rifle to be stowed in much smaller and flatter spaces than a regular AR-15 or even a folding-stock model AR-15, all while using your same buffer tube hardware. And, the kit costs a little over $100.

What is the American version of "nyet, comrade. Rifle is fine"?
So it’s $150 bucks to still have to take the upper off the lower to get any space saving. Why would this even matter haha 😂 neat idea, great price, gimmick in all reality tho 🤷♂️ name one time this would actually be useful??? Other than flying, at that rate you could have just checked the bag you’d have to anyway and save $100 bucks Lol 😂
I’ll admit, you have my curiosity. Wonder how this would work on an AR-9, or Extar EP9
I’m stupid how strong is delrin ?
She committed 7 felonies in this video! 😂
Looks like an upgraded version of the Rellim Arms Stock Adapter.
Finally a company not blatantly up charging to the magical $499+ range lol. I mean sure its untested by Youtubers yet. (cuzz of course thats what matters) but but lets be real if this is $139… why does adding hinge add $300? just my personally take on folding/removal stocks. price vs what they are just doesnt add up imo.
I would to see a torture test of this to see how long it can last before it fails. it looks promising
Nice for a bag gun i bet.
Nice piece of hardware.
seems largely like a gimmick to me.
Will this allow me to shoot a higher caliber bullet?
This would be really interesting installed on a GAU5A ASDW
"it's made of something something 5 aircraft aluminium" we need more of her lmao
why use this instead of a Cry Havoc quick release barrel or a Law Tactical folding stock adapter?
Great price!
So not only do I have a detachable stock but a captive recoil spring?
I see James I watch . Simple
Nice equipment. Host’s profanity totally unnecessary, totally unprofessional, totally immature & totally ungentlemanly
"im a complete idiot" hey relatable!
😂 10/10 for her response to James saying he was a complete idiot
This is dumb
Is guncon in a damn loading dock warehouse? Wtf
🇺🇸
Yeah, I’m not sure why channels like this cover an item like this when obviously the ATF made this illegal by proxy. Notably since the host refuses to get political and punted on the political question at the recent Gun con.
So WHY THE FUCK COVER THIS CAUSE ITS NOT GOING TO BE ALLOWED FOR CIVILIAN USE.
😂 everybody’s already got theirs rigged up….quick twist’s…..clamps..etc
💯🇺🇸🗽
Let's solve a problem that doesn't exist.
watching her shake the gun to try and get the bcg to drop out not understanding the bolt has a lock up with the barrel, facepalm
🎥🎥🦍🦍🙌🙌🙌🙌🎬🎬🎬🎬🙌🙌💎💎💎🇺🇸🇺🇸🐐🐐🚀🚀🚀
Was thinking about getting a couple of these for bolt guns I have that use AR stocks, but don’t need a functioning buffer assembly. I assume it would work fine without the buffer, spring, and extension.
Does Guncon specialize in gimmicky gun accessories or is that just what you're looking for this year, James.
I think we've reached peak buffer tube fatigue.
If you don't like the Ar-15 architecture don't get an AR-15.
The buffer tube was solved with the collapsible stock. Everything else is adding too much weight, complexity and proprietary parts to be worth the trade-off.
