  1. I appreciate the knowledge and in depth detail this guy goes into, along side his comedic relief. He’s obviously well versed and knows his ish. You’ve made a subscriber out of me. Keep it up!

  2. I'm so glad I found this channel, I feel like every single gun YouTube channel is like a 20 to 40 minute video explaining the most simple thing, with at least the first two minutes of the video being a montage of them shooting while walking or some shit, like we get it you're good at shooting I would hope so since you own a gun channel nobody cares just give us your information lmao this video slaps, short and straight to the point

  3. Is there a difference in buffers and spring mil vs commercial?
Can a mil spec tube thread into a receiver that has a commercial spec tube?
No one ever mentions that part.
My magpul milspec set up has a shorter spring than my commercial Tapco but not sure if that’s just brand differences.

  4. Got cheezed by a well known dealer (won't dime them out, but they're initials are like PSA, or something like that) who advertised a Milspec MOE lower parts kit, which arrived with a commercial buffer tube which did not screw into my Milspec lower. Informed seller, they quickly sent me out another of the same. SMH. 🙄

Kyle, I will be a new subscriber because you get this YouTube thing…you are very to the point and interject some quick humor.

Most YouTube channels are Commercial grade…your channel is Milspec. Organically speaking, of course.

  5. You did answer the big question can you swap out a commercial buffer tube wit a mil spec buffer tube?

And can you reuse the existing internal components from the commercial in a mil spec?

  6. If I replace my VR80 shotgun commercial buffer tube with an AR mil-spec tube which spring should I use? Isn't the mil-spec tube spring designed for .223 recoil not 12 gauge slugs?

  7. Perfect great video , well done, explained very well , learned that I have buy another buffer tube if I want to go from 6 position to skeleton stock on a doubestar 16 inch barrel ,ar15 , came mil spec but 7075 aluminum , but is in the commercial format not a perfect cylinder ,

  8. Hey I really like this video, Please tell me, I have a colt take off waffle pattern stock that has a slanted butt plate. Does colt make a Mil-Spec buffer tube (1.14" diameter) with a slant or do they run the slanted stock on the straight end buffer tube? Thank you for your time.

  9. i bought a cheap set of stock with buffer tube…the rear cover looks like it was just pressed in the tube…i always worry the buffer might end up coming out of the rear part of the tube…lol

  10. You have redirected me. I just ordered a comm stock for my vr80 so I wouldn't have to change my buffer tube. Now I'm going to do it right and find the correct mil-spec tube for my vr80

  11. I’m starting to understand the difference. Will both tubes thread on to all lower receivers the same? Or are receivers also sized differently? Like can I add a mil spec buffer tube to a rock river lower?

  12. Great video! The question I can’t seem to get a definitive answer for is can you thread a mil-spec tube into a receiver that was manufactured for…and has commercial tube in it? Will it damage the threads on the receiver?

  13. I had no idea about "mil-spec" being thrown around like "organic" in a grocery store. I certainly hope I haven't made any "organic" purchases regarding my firearms, bc I will definitely be genuinely Mil-spec angry being ex-military. So what does that mean as far as Colt , LWRC, Sig Sauer, and other quality type brands of parts or whole weapons/AR's? I guess the question would be, How do you know who's Mil-spec, and who's not-and says they are, before buying their parts?
