  1. Review is on point…. I initially tried this scope several months back and found the lack of a daylight bright reticle a no go….. loved the glass clarity, size and weight. After thinking about it a bit iirealized it was going on a rifle with an offset dot and I didn't need the daylight bright or 1x performance as much. I ended up buying of of my own and after using it at a local Accurized AR match this past weekend, I am very happy with it. Once again you have an awesome review !

  2. Got hands on this optic at a local shop. Everything you said rings true from what I can tell. The body, glass, and overall build quality is amazing. But the reticle is very difficult to use. I really want to see primary arms ACSS in these high end scopes.

  3. What I don't understand is why Eotech, on their prior model and this, didn't derive what diameter the reticle circle needs to be in order to just barely leave the field of view when zoomed up to max magnification. This way it would be smaller and more effective at 1x and other smaller magnifications. Sure, the circle would be a bit obscuring at higher mags that aren't max magnification, but I think that's going to be understood when choosing a reticle like this. The purpose of the eotech reticle should be to be highly effective at 1x and useful at further distances.

  4. this is one of the scopes that desperately needs to cost 500 bucks more (so we can have RDS bright illum).
Everything else on it is great, but the 1x reticle just gets lost in the sauce.

  5. It doesn’t have a chevron or anything to make a precise shot? I dont get it. My vortex strike eagle seems to be a better deal. Oh, I saw later in the vid. I still don’t like it though.
