The Tippmann Arms .22 AR15 is one of my favorite .22 rifles. It has the same feel and quality as a standard AR15 in 5.56. Such a fun gun to shoot!

It’s a pretty gun
To me the best .22lr option is the CMMG conversion kit. It's not the best .22 rifle you can get, but it will do anything you need from a .22, and to be able to carry one rifle, and have your .22 option in a pocket is priceless. It's one of the best features of the AR-15 platform, utilizing that modularity to great effect.

My cmmg kit makes all of my ARs "my favorite 22lr". And costs a ton less than any dedicated 22 out there. Lol
I'm looking at getting one of these. As far as I know it's the easiest one to convert to full auto. The rest have too much of their internals changed.

Can't say Iwould bother using a 22lr for training. Just go with a Airsoft if people can't afford the 223 ammo or have the location/ability to train otherwise.
