Great breakdown of sight options, Trijicon and Meprolight have reflex sights that don't use batteries. While they are pricey I had a reflex that I used that lasted 12 years before the element had to be replaced.
i have had many sights over 10 years and i always find myself going back to irons

I saw a red dot with a 3x magnifier at a gun show once. Didn't buy it, and have never seen one since.

What the heck is an I-RON sight? I RON, I just do not understand . I can't see anything , other than the BUILT IN sights.
Holosun 510c is technically a massive open reflex sight of the COD type 🕵🏻♂️
I prefer a fixed front sight and an A2 carry handle sight. Keep it simple.

I remember shooting my friends AMT Automag in 30 carbine that gun was so much fun to shoot the fireballs and percussion were insane! I wish I bought it off him when he had it for sale 🤦♂️
I can’t use red dots or holographics (tried 3 eotech and 1 vortex) because my astigmatism is so bad. Found a good vortex prism that’s working for me so far.
Not sure why, but YT has made Epi 17 unavailable to me. Overall, these videos have been tremendous and extremely informative. Started building my own and these videos have helped me to make decisions on how to set mine up. Thanks very much Randy and AT3.
