  1. Hate the grip, prefer the B5. The one I got has some play between lower and upper, not happy about that. Also the B5 stock rattles…For the exclusivity and cost, you'd think everything would be absolutely perfect.

Also didn't get the qd steel inserts…lame

  2. The cosmoline is a pain to clean off these uppers and firearms. That's probably my only complaint with them. Not a fan of the safety and grip either but everything else I really think offer some great features. Super 42s are great although proprietary and you can't swap standard buffers or weights out. The trigger is one of the best and a gold standard. How they install the gas block is incredible and would be a $200 service from a competent gun smith. The BCG is good but not worth the retail $300 price imo. Rail is great, I'd prefer the Surefire Warcomp that wasn't close tine. Locking tab on the rail and upper is nice but you'll have a cut out on the upper if you ever want to change the rail. That CHF CL barrel is another great feature. The charging handle is good but not my preferred but overall it's a great rifle or upper, especially if you can pick one of these up for $900 for the upper or $1250 for the complete rifle like I did on Black Friday and Memorial Day.

This is probably the best sub $1000 complete upper you can buy as of 2022. ADM makes a great upper for $800 with the handlapped and honed Criterion barrels but the rail, upper receiver, gas block aren't as good imo. The radian Raptor and Surefire Warcomp flash hider are better tho. ADMs nitrided BCG isn't as good either.

  3. I couldn’t decide between 14.5 & 11.5. Just didn’t want to be stuck with a pinned muzzle device. But got my 11.5 super duty . Such a well built rifle, just waiting for my rc2👍 then it’s complete

  4. I have 2 super duty uppers in odg with geissele lowers w/ fcd small parts. They both have geissele triggers but obviously not the "x". I believe one is the dynamic flat bow and an ssa-e in the other. I love them and I'm working on my 3rd which is in ddc.
I don't think I'll be building anything else besides G builds for a while

  5. The insert on the QD is the same they been using for years on their FBIHRT rail. It's for hard use so the aluminum in the rail itself doesn't wear out as seen before. They just made the change in April of this year to all current rails now being made.

  6. It’s a very smooth shooting gun. My only complaint is weight. I put a vortex viper 1-6 on mine and it feels so damn heavy 😂. Granted, I primarily train with a bcm 11.5, so I’ve been spoiled by a lighter gun. But even my 16” bcm with a 1-6 feels much lighter.
