Springfield Victor 7.5” Pistol: Best AR pistol under $1200? Prove me wrong!

Whats better than a rifle? A rifle that is also a pistol! Taking this Saint Victor from Springfield off the gun shelf was quite possibly one of the best gun purchases made to date. We could go on and on about the features but are they really worth the 1250 dollar price tag? Would we pay that for this firearm?
Don’t forget to smash that thumbs up and like button on your way out, have a great day!

  1. It looks good,. I run my lights at 1 o'clock as a righty,. Maybe for you as a lefty 11 o'clock, but the top is better, and tight at you can get it . Keeping the bottom clean for grip is better on a realy short barrel. Pressure pad on top, then the wire is tucked between very protected from snag . You want your pressure pad just pass your thumb so you have to reach up to hit it , that's so you don't accidentally hit it during your normal grip , I noticed that O-Light, they make a different type 45/o mounting bracket M-Lok it will put your light at 11oclock and tight by the iron sight .

  2. Looks like Springfield has discontinued these…I bought 2 with the SB3 brace before the supply dried up. Added overmold grips, Streamlight barrel hugging lights and Holosun 5010c's. I also added Magpul, stationary, single point sling attachments at the castle nut on the buffer tube and Magpul M-Lok stationary sling mount on the handguard for a Magpul sling. These are by far my favorite firearms…not even close. Hopefully these will be back on the market when/if the ATF and NFA get smoothed out and eliminated as UnConstitutional. Springfield isn't exactly 2nd oriented or patriotic. Paid $1099 each for two…these are very high quality as you stated. Extremely thorough and thoughtful review!

  3. I have the option of buying this gun for $800 with a holo sight included from a trustworthy friend. The person has modified the trigger at one point, but he has since changed it back to it’s OEM counterparts. Is this something I should be concerned about?

  4. Just picked one up today, added pop up sights to co-witness with red dot that came with the rifle, added a two point sling for convience, $1099.99 plus tax came out about $1,200.00 … Like the feel of the Pistol, Dude does need to learn proper terminology when talking firearms cause the left will use your misspoken word and Fact Checkers will say it it TRUE you can buy Full Semi Auto Assault Rifles with 7.5 inch barrels that are also flame throwers ! ! ! It is a PISTOL the appears to be a great home defense weapon

  5. I have a question for anyone here who owns a Springfield Saint Victor AR Pistol. Next month when this law is supposed to go into effect because of the arm brace issue, will our platforms become SBRs or are we safe? I haven’t modified mine at all. I have a red dot but no scope. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  6. Can i ask a question?? They say if the gun is over 26 inches with a barrel under 16 inches its considered an sbr and you need a tax stamp. And i now with that brace extended back its gonna be longer than 26 inchs. So did you have to get a tax stamp for that??

  7. I got the full size rifle in 55.6 and couldn't be more pleased with it,flat shooting, accurate, soft shooter and lightweight oh and forgot to mention reliable,I've shot about 5k rounds threw it without any issues and only 3 cleanings

  8. my m&p 7.5 has a similar blast diverter. night shooting is basically not doable and every shot feels like superman just landed next to you. i replaced it with the barking spider 2 and now the muzzle flash is almost non existent and sound and blast feels a lot more tamed. i dont get the mini earthquake feel when shooting anymore.

  9. I've been looking for this pistol in 308 and having a hard time finding it. I'm already highly invested in Springfield armory. 😁 I did look at the 556 but I couldn't afford both the 556 and 308. Then I came across the Smith & Wesson. There almost identical, blast diverter, melonite finish, no case though but it was $300 less than the Saint. I bought the S&W and still have enough $ for the Saint 308 when I find it.
You got a great deal on yours, can't find them around here for that price.

  10. Every time reviewers call the AR pistol a rifle, I imagine the ATF rubbing they’re hands, greedily. We all gotta stop saying that. Otherwise, nice review.
