  1. great review,it helped me find what I was looking,,I'd never heard of GPO so I went to their website and found the Passion 3-9×42 ….it has the huge F.O.V. that I'm looking for in a deer rifle and as soon as I saw the reticles I was sold…well kinda.
it's a bit out of my budget range so I have to save a bit for it so for now I am I am going with the Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 on my almost 60 year Remington 700 30.06, but I may put it on my Model 70 in .270 instead…,BTW..what do you use on those huge ass spiders you got where you live?,,lol

  2. Joe I have a question for you!!! What do you know about the Company that makes scopes under the name of Starfire defense scopes? Sells awful cheap for the listed options included. To much for what they sell for IMO. ANY info would be greatly appreciated Joe, THANKS in advance!!!

  3. I bought the SWFA Ultralite on your recommendation when they came out. I love the scope and was flirting with the idea of moving it onto a 30-06, what do you think Joe, too much?
Now, on to the chops-busting; It's Swore-off-ski, not "Save-or-ski" Say it with me Joe, SWAR – OV – SKI.

  4. Like many guys I have numerous rifles to keep scoped and I also have learned that my eye likes the uniformity of the same sight picture regardless of which rifle I'm shooting. I don't need to go too cheap but can't justify going too expensive either. For that reason, I some time ago settled on the Leupold scopes in the $300 range with the duplex reticle. The VX-Freedom in duplex was discontinued for some strange reason, but when I need a scope for a new rifle that model can usually still be found on eBay. I also like that that scope is available in the 3-9×40, or the 2-7×33 which is perfect for a .223 or 30-30.

  5. Iโ€™d love to see some head to head scope comparison of 4×16 Meopta r1 , 4×16 Steiner p4 , and the zeiss conquest 4×16 . Thinking on one of these three for my go to deer and elk rifle .

  6. I truly enjoy the no BS reviews my friend thank you it saves guys like me money when looking for an Optic. Iโ€™m looking at the Sig Sauer Buckmaster line of Optics now, have you ever tried the Buckmaster line? I know the Whiskey on up are incredible Optics. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis

  7. I looked through the meopta meostar, awesome glass and the illumination was brightest I've seen. However. It reflected red on the inside of the scope. Is thisnormal? What causes this? The optika6 didn't do that.

  8. 2 questions on the Leupold vx3hd in 4.4-14
    1) is it worth the $150 extra for the parallax knob?
    2) is it worth upgrading to the x50 vs the x40?

Looking to put on a deer rifle used 300 yds and in
