ILLUMINED ARMS MCX 22LR ADAPTER KIT VIDEO.
The Illumined Arms 22LR adapter kit for the MCX, fits seamlessly with the 22LR Bravo kit from CMMG. Once installed in your 5.56 MCX you will be able to shoot a variety of 22LR ammo, including 22 subs, supers, and lead-free ammo. The two adapter blocks allow flawless function and reliability in your 5.56 MCX.
The charging handle adapter slides into the upper receiver along with Bravo kit, while the black spacer (The Buff plug) drops in the lower receiver behind the Bravo kit. Once your MCX is reassembled your charging handling will function as normal racking the bolt.
Please take note: After shooting 22LR from your MCX, we recommend shooting at least ten rounds of 5.56 through your barrel, to clear out your gas block and remove any left over material or carbon.
This adapter kit does not work with after market buffers. The Illumined Arms MCX adapter kit is sold separately from the CMMG Bravo kit.
