When my Dad passed away not me. Ha!
Soak the cup in silicone and see if it softens up. I have a Blue Streak from my Dad when I passed away. He bought it in the 70s and it still works great.
Nice Job Nibs 😀
Wish I could post a picture here, but I have one that is 42 years old. It was the 1st rifle I brought with my own money in 1980. Still works! I love my Blue Streak. Lots of great squirrel and rabbit hunting memories with my dad and grandfather.
That is a super nice old pumper and great job on the fix🙂👍. I would like to see a video on the Daisy 880, fix up as good as yours 🙂👍.
Now this is a rifle I like this better than the dragonfly
Good job, Nibs. Now I know how to replace if I need to. These guns do take effort to pump but they are quality built with good materials that was designed to last.
I have a 1976 Blue Streak. Had it since new and only last year had to rebuild the valve. Got all my parts from Mac1, works like new again. These are great rifles. Not many of them up here it seems. I was the only guy to have one in my area and I think it is the only air rifle I managed to keep. Though I do still have my 1977 Webley Hurricane.
