Did you clean the backside of the lugs so that the ARIC properly breaks in? It needs metal-on-metal contact apparently.
If you don't use a chamber brush before installing, the ARIC will not form to the upper receiver properly.

The Daewoo k1 is basically the same bolt carrier. Those are still in use with South Korea, so not a bogus design all around. EWS makes one that looks tougher, but good luck getting a response from them.
Aric would work if the recoil springs were stronger and you had oversized gas. In my experience, the damn thing wont send a round into battery on a full 30rd mag. Only 25or less rounds in a 30rd mag would work and I soaked the system in oil.
At that point I'd just buy a BRN-180
Just buy fm15 or brn180

I got an MCX Rattler upper for $1700 instead of a full Rattler firearm for $2700, bought an American Defense Ambi upper, a better charging handle, a proper telescoping brace that fits the grooves in the upper receiver, and a 10in integral suppressor MCX handguard all for less than the $2700. Don’t buy the full firearm, buy the uppers gentlemen and be smart about it. Get value for your dollar.
There’s a couple bufferless bolt carriers I’ve seen that work pretty good

Law tactical claimed 10 thousand rounds with no issues.
I really wanted to make my 300 blackout with law tactical folder that rides in my backpack fire when folded.
I knew it was too good to be true.
Just like law folder looks like I’m waiting to gen 3.

I like your new informal style of video. Mac comes of as more human. His old style of lecturing and info dumping wasn't bad, but you never got a sense of how Mac felt, he was too impartial and robotic.
