The new CMMG magazines looked promising, but we’ve found that they don’t have enough spring tension for a consistent lock up with the AR Catch22. More testing is needed to figure out what the best workaround is to get these running properly.

The cmmg mag is shit and the ones I got could use that clip. So much play in them in the magwell that in order for the rounds to cycle thru is to push forward. Which sucks cause now I have to hold onto mag instead of handguard.
I just built a CMMG and have only 1 CMMG mag. I’m trying to decide if I should invest in more CMMG mags or go with the S&W. Also I want some short mags as I shoot from a bipod occasionally. Thanks for the video.

I installed the gen 1 catch 22 in my dedicated pistol with the reduced power spring and it seems to be working great with the new cmng gen 2 mags.
