In this video, James talks about why he chose the MCX to replace his MK18 as his primary, and really only, semi-automatic rifle. In addition, having put in some time with it already, he gives some initial impressions. If you are considering buying an MCX Virtus (MCX Gen II) or a Spear LT (MCX Gen III) you might find this information helpful.

What Cann did you go with for your Gassy 556 MCX?
I have both the Virtus (5.56) and the Spear LT (7.62×39)… It's an amazing platform.
It makes me angry how quiet those are.
