Thank you Sir
I really like Streamlight, but they really need to remove strobe from these things. Ten Tap is a very cool system, but if you are limited on options, you don’t want one of them ruined with the stupid strobe function.
So can you get replacement batteries?
The regular hlx has like 22k candela it’s perfect for my 16 inch rifle now on my 18 inch rifles and 20 inch with lpvo I run the rein
I’d love to see some lights that focus on candela and high CRI
Wow great job engineering team
Literally copied COAST XP11R handheld light. Good job Streamlight
I love my Streamlight TLR1s. But the battery life sucks. And it drains the battery when it's off. I want to say it takes about 4-5 months with it off to kill the battery. But that's just a guess. I make sure to buy plenty of batteries and replace them every couple of months. Also, the strobe feature is dimmer than the light itself when it's on. It's good enough for 50-75 yards and 100 yards when fully charged.
Did they fix the issue with loss of battery contact under recoil?… And what is the candela?!
So no update to the TLR1? The least you could do is add the same switches you have on the tlr7&8 sub to your TLR1. Those switches have been the best innovations of yours in a while.
Like the new tlr
Drew: the angry mob insists you swap the word "slick" with "lubed". It should catch on!
It's a shame that flashlight companies don't yet realize that candela is more important than lumens in the real world for what these lights are designed for.
Say slick one more time.
Protac WML is NOTORIOUS for light flickering due to the lack of dual springs. One spring on each side.
This was clearly ignored my SL as he didn't mention the CORRECTION required. I've been running Protac WML for years. And the flicker is the main issue. Besides that I swear by all my SL's.
Streamlight has always worked well for me. I wish they would make a lower cost IR head or cheaper alternative to the vampire.
These batteries don’t “stay ready all the time” as well as CR123’s. They’re really powerful, but they have a small amount of drain/degradation while stored. Also, when they get low they don’t give you any sign, they just cut off suddenly or begin to run on and off randomly.
Switched all my lights that matter to CR123’s.
What about candela though
