If you really think the government was Illinois is elected by its citizens you are naive. Illinois via the Chicago machine first took over Cook county, then they levered that to vote harvest and committ regular massive voter election fraud to take over the state government which they then solidified by redistricting and finally by making mail in voting without verification permanent. Essentially Illinois outside of Chicago was raped of their rights by corrupt Democrat politicians from Chicago and Cook county. Not many know outside of Illinois that the Republican party establishment in Illinois is also run by Democrats. That ensures that no viable statwide candidate will ever be conservative. The only conservatives who are elected are downstate (essentially below I 80) and outside of cook and the collar counties. That ensures that the Democrats will never and can never lose control of Illinois – much like the template that they started using in California. Politically one can vote harder all they want (and many of us still vote, support, and work to get out the vote) but we don't delude ourselves that Illinois isn't lost at least for generations or more. Too many people don't understand the mindset of the Urban voters in cities like Chicago – to them there is only one party and any election is done in a primary – unions control a lot of the vote – teachers, state govt unions, and still even the traditional blue collar trades. They also control the election process – what ballots are sent out and collected and whether they are counted. It's all about money and power and corruption is completely accepted as just a part of how things are done. We knew this was coming and we knew that all we could do is take them to court and basically refuse to abide by their unconstitutional laws – which is why so many county boards, sheriffs, and downstate states attorneys have been ready to resist through nullification. The governor can posture all he wants but the state police don't have the people, the resources, or the facilities or the courts to impose his bans. So we tell them – NO – and 95 out of 102 counties have said no so far. And we take them to court and stand up for our rights.

Weapons don't assault people. People assult people. That fat kunt just assaulted the 2nd amendment. I will not be complying.

These Governors, Members of Congress and the President need to understand that they are breaking the law by violating the Constitution. Also they need to remember this “All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void (Supreme Court Marbury vs. Madison, 1803). The same goes for law enforcement of any kind.

The part that nobody is talking about with this bill for some reason is on section 40 and 45 starting on page 62 where it is taking about the red flag confiscation.

It expressly states that once accused you are guilty until proven innocent. This is a precedent that should terrify everyone in the entire country.

On that alone any sherif not saying no to this either wasn't paying attention or shouldn't be in law enforcement.
